Turnkey civil works with MEP coordination built in
General contracting at Bessel is the control layer over structure, site works, finishes coordination, and MEP interfaces. We take approved drawings through procurement, mobilisation, execution, and taking-over so the client is not managing a stack of unrelated subcontractors.
From Al Khobar we staff commercial, industrial, and infrastructure jobs with named supervision, a programme, and inspection test plans. Civil packages include foundations and concrete, drainage and external works, and architectural interface — sequenced with HVAC and fire so shafts, plant rooms, and fire-rated walls are not left as late clashes.
Where the client wants a single accountable contractor we deliver turnkey. Where we sit inside a larger EPC or PMC arrangement we still own our interfaces in writing: inclusions, exclusions, and hold points.
Typical applications
The civil team is used on new-build and major alteration work where structure, site, and building services have to land together.
- Industrial buildings, workshops, and plant-adjacent facilities
- Commercial and campus buildings requiring coordinated MEP openings
- Infrastructure and external works tied to building handover
- Packages inside a main-contractor or PMC delivery model
Detailed scope of work
Scope is written per job, but the following is the standing civil capability.
Civil & structural
- Civil and structural works
- Foundations, reinforced concrete, and structural packages
- Site grading, drainage, and underground utilities interfaces
- Slabs, ramps, pits, and equipment plinths
Controls & delivery
- MEP coordination and execution
- Project scheduling and supervision
- Quality control and safety management
- Turnkey project delivery, snagging, and as-built information
Standards, method & records
Work proceeds only against approved drawings, specifications, and client procedures. Submittals cover materials, mix designs where relevant, and shop drawings for interfaces with HVAC duct, fire piping, and steel.
Saudi building practice and the client’s specification govern. Hold points for rebar, concrete, waterproofing, and buried works are inspected before covering. HSE covers excavations, lifting, and live-plant access where the site is operational.
