Duct and accessories made in our shop, installed to the drawing

Bessel manufactures HVAC ducting and accessories in-house instead of depending entirely on bought-in duct. Shop control shortens lead time, keeps gauge and joint quality under our QA, and lets installation follow approved shop drawings rather than field improvisation.

Fabrication covers galvanized and stainless systems for comfort cooling, industrial ventilation, and commercial kitchens. Accessories — volume control dampers, fire and smoke dampers, access doors, filters, terminals, hoods, stacks, and attenuators — are produced or fitted as a matched set.

Installation includes hanging, sealing, fire-stopping at penetrations, and access for future cleaning. The duct that leaves the shop is the duct that is commissioned.

Typical applications

In-house fabrication is used wherever duct quality, kitchen extract, or fire-damper integration cannot be left to a generic catalogue run.

  • Commercial kitchens requiring stainless hoods and grease-rated extract
  • Office, hospitality, and campus comfort-cooling networks
  • Industrial ventilation, fresh-air stacks, and noisy plant rooms needing attenuators
  • Projects where fire/smoke dampers must match the Civil Defense drawing

Detailed scope of work

Manufacturing and site installation are one package unless the client splits supply.

Duct & kitchen systems

  • Galvanized and stainless rectangular and spiral duct
  • Kitchen hood fabrication and installation
  • Fresh-air stacks, sound attenuators, and plenums

Air-path hardware

  • Round and rectangular volume control dampers
  • Fire and smoke dampers to specified ratings
  • Access doors, aluminium filters, and air terminals
  • Supports, hanging, sealing, and penetration fire-stopping

Standards, method & records

Shop drawings are submitted before cutting metal. Gauges, joints, and damper ratings follow the approved specification and international HVAC practice used in KSA commercial work.

Fire and smoke dampers are installed to the rating on the drawing, with access for reset and inspection. Pressure testing or leakage checks are carried out where the specification requires them.
