Sprinklers, suppression, hydrants, and alarm as one system

Fire protection is designed to save life and property and to pass Saudi Civil Defense inspection. Bessel installs sprinkler, suppression, hydrant, pump, and alarm packages as a coordinated cause-and-effect system — not as disconnected gadgets.

Hazard drives the choice of wet, dry, deluge, or pre-action sprinklers; FM-200, CO₂, clean agent, foam, or mist; and UL/FM-certified pumps and controllers. Detection, panels, and notification are programmed to the agreed matrix and interfaced to suppression release where required.

Documentation — drawings, calculations where specified, certificates, and test sheets — is compiled so the authority and the client can inspect the same system we commissioned.

Typical applications

New fire packages are used on industrial, commercial, hospitality, and campus buildings where occupancy and hazard are defined.

  • Commercial and hospitality buildings requiring sprinklers and addressable alarm
  • Industrial and plant buildings needing hydrants, foam, or deluge
  • IT and plant rooms specified for clean-agent or CO₂ suppression
  • Projects requiring UL/FM-listed pumps and Civil Defense handover

Detailed scope of work

Fire fighting and fire alarm are offered together so hydraulics and detection stay aligned.

Fire fighting

  • Sprinklers — wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action
  • FM-200, CO₂, clean agent, foam, and mist
  • Hydrants, hose reels, and fire-water networks
  • UL/FM-certified pumps, jockeys, and controllers

Fire alarm

  • Detection, panels, sounders, and visual alarms
  • Installation, programming, and FAS release interface
  • Pressure, flow, and alarm testing
  • Records prepared for Civil Defense inspection

Standards, method & records

Saudi Civil Defense requirements sit alongside the project specification and, where listed, UL/FM equipment. Pipe materials, hanger spacing, and pump arrangement follow the approved drawing — not installer habit.

Cause-and-effect is demonstrated before handover: detection, notification, HVAC shutdown or damper command if specified, and suppression release. Temporary cover is agreed if we are working in an occupied building.
