Operating buildings often still run conventional panels, obsolete clean agents, or systems that no longer match occupancy or Civil Defense practice. Bessel upgrades detection, panels, pumps, and suppression while the facility stays in use.
Typical work converts conventional alarm to addressable architecture, replaces detectors and notification, and integrates fire with CCTV, BMS, and public-address so security and facilities see one event, not three.
Legacy suppression is reviewed for agent availability and environmental rules. Where the original gas is no longer acceptable we re-engineer to eco-safe agents without pretending the old cylinders can simply be refilled forever.

Standards, method & records
We do not strip the old system until temporary detection or a documented cover plan is in place. Phasing is agreed with the operator and, where required, the authority.
As-built information for the existing system is often missing. We survey, label, and produce a new record so the next maintenance contractor is not guessing loop topology.
